Angove Conservation Park: A Hidden Gem

Angove Conservation Park, located just 18 kilometres northeast of Adelaide in South Australia, is a haven for biodiversity. This protected area safeguards one of the last remaining stands of drooping sheoak and southern cypress pine woodlands within the Adelaide foothills. Supporting a rich tapestry of life, the park is home to 142 native plant species and provides essential habitat for a variety of animals.

Reptiles, possums, bats, and over 74 bird species have found refuge within the park’s dense vegetation. While exploring the park’s trails, keep an eye out for these fascinating creatures.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in Angove Conservation Park.
